From trash to treasure (literally!)

After dropping my son off at school one morning I decided to stalk search the neighborhood for any goodies that someone may have left out for trash that morning.  I stumbled upon this chair.

It's a rather small chair.  The seat cushion was nasty, so I just threw it away.  I was going to replace the seat, but I thought a little more and decided to turn it into a planter.  I added a coco basket liner and some rocks, in hopes of protecting the wood seat from water.  I'm so pleased with the results!

  1. So so creative. When can I place my order? I want one when i get my own house!!! love it!

  2. That is too cute. I like it better in the black paint.
