Progress

The kitchen is far from done, but we've been making great progress!  I wanted to share with you what we've accomplished so far with the cabinets.

The molding around the cabinets makes such a huge difference, that I think I'm going to leave the handles off!

I never cared much for those handles so they won't be missed!  I'm hoping we can finish up this weekend, but my friend has a busy schedule, so we'll see how things go!  Take care my friends and I hope you guys have a great weekend!

  6. Love the new look! Are you going to add new pulls later in a different style or going to go without pulls completely?

  8. From experience, you'll want knobs. Otherwise you'll be continually cleaning and repainting the areas that get worn from grabbing the doors to open them. I hate my doors without knobs.

On the bright side, since they look so stunning, you can choose an equally stunning knob (not handle) for your doors!

I love the trim around yours and wish I could do that on the top of my cabinets but I'll take the new counters instead!

  20. hi thanks for stopping by. Beautiful cabinets, the moldings look great. Also like the dark hardare, beautiful!

To answer your question, not sure which picture you were referring to as there were about 4 or 5 Georgians in that post, if you let me know specifically which one, I may be able to pinpoint it. Thanks!

  21. Brandi, those are wonderful! The molding is just enough to really make those cabinets look totally different! Great call on making that change! Are you going to replace the handles? With or without it will look perfect!

  25. You're right. The molding gives your cabinets a complete new look with out the hardware(I had to look twice before I realized they were the same). I like the new look.
