Iron Bed Makeover

As you may recall, I purchased this bed for my daughter's room from a nice man on Craigslist after searching for months for an iron bed.

After going back and forth, my daughter and I agreed to paint it white.  She agreed, I painted! ; )

Her monogrammed pillow is recent gift from a sweet blogging friend, Beverly!  Thank you again Beverly- She loves it!

Here's a few more pictures from around her room.  I purchased this set of pictures from Etsy.

My daughter's room is not very big, but it was important to us to include a small desk and chair so she has a quiet place to do her homework.  She's a good student!  I'm extremely proud of her!

The tree wall decal was ordered from here.

As always my friends thanks so much for stopping by!

  21. Oh what a beautiful room for your daughter. I love the colors and that bed is wonderful! I have the old iron crib that was my father's and had almost forgotten about it (It is stored in the attic) After seeing how great your daughter's bed looks I just have to get it back out! It wouldn't be safe by crib standards today but, one side slides down to make it into a daybed. Thank you - so glad i saw your post at Nifty Thrifty Tuesday!

I love how you painted your daughter's new bed! It is so beautiful, and the whole room is just perfect! I love the color on the walls and all the cute decorations, too! :) Those sweet old iron beds can be so hard to find, too. I have been trying to find matching ones, and so far haven't had any luck! But I'm patient! ;)
