As soon as I saw it, there was no question- I had to have it. I fell in love! It was the most beautiful chair I had ever seen. But it was expensive, very expensive. The chair was refurbished by artist Andrea Mihalik and sold in her Etsy shop. There was no way I could ever justify spending that much money on a chair. Unless, in my husband's words, it(the chair) got up and made me breakfast everyday- ha! Oh well. My love for the chair didn't die though, so I searched for a cheaper alternative.
After searching for months, I was able to locate the name of the fabric, but $68 per yard was way more than I wanted to spend. Then after doing a Google search, the heavens parted and the angels sang. I was able to locate an affordable pair of pillow covers for sale on Ebay. Yes! I was quite excited and I couldn't wait for them to arrive in the mail.
I love the pattern. The colors work well in the room too.
The dining room is still a work in progress, but for now, I'm pleased with how things are coming together.

ReplyDeleteYour dinning room chairs look great with the chevron pattern and those pillows are the perfect companion!
Brandi, the same thing happened to me with some chairs I got at Target. Little did I know they were made out of a Duralee fabric that was very expensive by the yard. I found a fabric store advertising it on Ebay for half of what everyone else wanted. I snapped up more than I needed in yardage, and am happy I did. I did a post on it in my blog in case you are interested. I love your chairs and the color and pattern of your pillows.
