I hope you're all having a great weekend! We had beautiful fall weather today. I was able to get some yard work done that I'd been postponing for the last few weeks.
After cleaning up the yard, I went to Home Depot and came home with some fall plants and pumpkins to decorate the porch with.
We had a few dead trees cut down in our yard last week and I asked my husband to save a few stumps for me. I used the stumps to display the pumpkins.
After cleaning up the yard, I went to Home Depot and came home with some fall plants and pumpkins to decorate the porch with.
I filled the window boxes with snapdragons, pansies and mustard greens. Hopefully I can keep the plants alive and thriving!
The pumpkin planters are candy pails purchased for $1 and filled with mums.
I've had this wreath forever. Years later and I still love it!
That's it! I had fun decorating my front porch this year. I chose to keep things simple, but welcoming. Thank you for reading, friends!
So pretty and welcoming. And I'm sooo jealous of your picture taking skills;)
ReplyDeleteSo inviting, Brandi. Your photos are beautiful. I've done nothing to my entry. Gotta get going on that.
ReplyDeleteBrandy, your entry is so festive and ready for the season! The mums are beautiful, and all of your fall accents are perfect!
ReplyDeleteBrandi your porch looks so pretty. I think it was a great idea to use those pumpkin buckets to hold the mums, I love that. The window boxes look pretty too. Love your pics!

ReplyDeleteLooks so nice and welcoming Brandi, really pretty with your blue door!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful decorations... I love the way you decorated your front step. I am hoping that it will be warm enough next week for me to get out and do something with mine.
ReplyDeleteWelcoming it is!!!! I love the stumps! My parents had some trees cut down on their property a couple of weeks ago and I considered asking the guys to cut me up some pieces, but I had no way to get them home. (Hubby would have had my head if I put them in my car!!!) Yours look really cool!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love the wreath and that cute lantern!

Your porch looks lovely Brandi. I think mums always remind me of Fall. The stumps are a very creative way of displaying the pumpkins. Spray paint is such a wonder for makeovers.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done Brandi! I love the way you used the stumps to give height and texture to your display.
ReplyDeleteI love your wreath!
Have a great day.
Pam

ReplyDeleteWhat a great fall porch! Love the stumps! What a great accent with the pumpkins and mums. Excellent pictures too!
ReplyDeleteYour porch is gorgeous - love your stumps!! We had an ice storm last October and tons of trees were downed and chopped. I wanted to save some stumps - but never got around to it before they were hauled away. Every time I see the perfect stump on my walks, I want to lug it home - but can't lift them (maybe I need to bring a wagon on my walks)!! Glad your hubs saved you those stumps!
