Although we went with darker paint, it feels much brighter and livelier.
I love this plant(Southern Mimosa). The leaves fold up at night.
The some of the artwork is actually framed greeting cards ordered from Etsy.
I purchased the shower curtain for around $20 at Marshall's.
Our friend that helped out in our kitchen added trim around the ceiling.
He changed out the light fixture for us too, from Hinkley lighting.
Basket under the vanity for extra toilet paper.
View from our bedroom.
The rug was purchased at Target for cheap.
I purchased the small stool at a yard sale for a few dollars. I gave it a quick makeover with spray paint.
The driftwood art was purchased at Home Goods for less than $20.
I added rocks to the plants to hide the exposed dirt.
View out of the bathroom window.
The only window is inside of the shower.
Our backyard is full of trees, so privacy isn't an issue.
Greeting card ordered from here.
A small hook for my robe or towels.
I am pleased that I was able to give our bathroom a fresh, new look without spending a lot of money.
Its so natural and calm...I love it!!! The little plant is adorable and perfect on the tray. Great job.
ReplyDeleteBrandi, it looks fantastic. It is amazing what a few little changes can do for a room. You just proved it doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg!
ReplyDeleteI love the vignette on the tray - that's really nicely arranged. And the driftwood art.....I love it so much I'd have to sit backwards on the throne. Lol
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! So serene and tranquil. I'm inspired to tackle my master bath now.

ReplyDeleteNice job on your bathroom! I enjoyed seeing it. Your pictures are great. What kind of camera do you use?
ReplyDeleteI actually loved both your before and after bathrooms. But I do adore the paint and color scheme used in the after makeover. You have such a great sense of style. I think I could live in that bathroom. :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Brandi.

Brandi, your bathroom makeover is so pretty! I love your choice of colors, so serene, like a spa. You have a lovely view. I love the little stool and your tray and artwork. Very nice. xx
ReplyDeleteExcellent job on this! Can't get over the driftwood art work, I absolutely love it!
ReplyDeleteTerrific difference in the room. The paint color really worked well with the accessories. Jane
ReplyDeleteIt looks fantastic and your shower curtain is very pretty!
ReplyDeleteGreat job! Love the colors you chose, and especially love the art work!
ReplyDeleteSo fresh and clean looking! I love it. I'm working on my powder room. It's not really a makeover because it's pretty much like it was when we built our house. Thanks for your inspiration!
ReplyDeleteA lovely bathroom makeover. I especially like the little framed pieces and love that you accomplished this without a huge amount of money.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that you have a window in your shower!!!! I would love to be able to look out like that! Actually, if I had my way, there would be no window treatments of any kind up all around the house. I love the feel and look of natural light pouring in! Living in the 'burbs, however, kinda slams the brakes on that! :-) You have wonderful privacy and....oh, I'm SO jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great makeover!
ReplyDeleteNice new look, Brandi! It looks very spa-like now!
ReplyDeletevisiting from Met Monday : )
feels totally spa like! I'm so in love with the little rug on the floor. Beautifully done!

Looks fabulous! Love the colors and details! However, I'd freak out in a bathroom without a curtain ;-) xo Anja
ReplyDeleteYour bathroom looks great! I like the coloring and the accents. The tray on the counter looks so nice...love the starfish on the towel...I really like the fabric of the shower curtain...good job!
ReplyDeleteLove your style. Great job!
ReplyDeleteBrandi, your bathroom looks fabulous :) I love all the little touches, you've inspired me to do a little spruce up.....maybe in the Fall.
ReplyDeleteOK, truthfully, the bathroom was pretty nice before too, but I know what you mean about how sometimes spaces just start feeling dingy to us. I get that feeling all the time! The new updated look is so crisp and fresh and that pattern on the shower curtain totally makes the room! I've just signed up to follow you on GFC, and would love it if you stopped by for a visit sometime and followed along if you like!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful love the colors! would love it if you shared it at Share it One More Time.
