I found this bench at the thrift store for $7.99. I originally blogged about it here.
I gave it a quick makeover using leftover paint and fabric from previous projects. As much as I loved the new color on the bench, I grew tired of the fabric.
After a visit to Joann's, I replaced the fabric for a fresh, new look.
It was by chance that the fabric matched the wall color exactly.
The new fabric really brightens the bench. The old fabric had become dull and boring.
I like being able to change out the fabric for an instant and inexpensive update.
I love having this bench around for extra seating.

ReplyDeleteI have been looking everywhere for a thrifty bench to make over. Love what you did to yours! Great choice of fabric and I like the idea of changing it out when you grow tired of it.
ReplyDeleteSee, I just don't know what to say to you anymore. Seriously, your projects get prettier and prettier as time goes on. I guess I'd be less pissed if I started to use them as inspiration and start my own projects. But as it is, I'm pretty lazy and so that all seems like way too much work and that's why I'm bothered.
ReplyDeletem.
