I've had this table for almost 16 years. It was the first piece of furniture my husband and I purchased together as a married couple. It was purchased as part of a set from the now defunct Bombay Company. I gave the coffee and end tables away, but decided to hold onto the console table for sentimental reasons.
The table was originally a metallic rust color. Then a few years ago my husband spray painted it brown. We disliked the color, but lived with it and it sat collecting dust in the family room.
A few weeks ago, I decided it was time to give the table a proper makeover. After a couple of coats of spray paint, I fell in love with my table all over again!

ReplyDeleteHi, I need your HELP. I was looking at the sofa table that you purchased from the Bombay Co. and it looks just like these two side tables that someone gave to me. They are missing the glass top and it al,pst looks like there could have been another piece under the glass top. I refinish furniture and sale it. I am unsure as to what I should do with these end tables. Did your side tables have just glass on top or was there something else under the glass? Can you please help me? I don't know if I should just put new glass on top and nothing under it or if I need to put something else under the glass as there is about two inches before the strips of metal under the top just like yours. Please help me you can email me at daubin56@yahoo.com. I REALLY need some help here.
ReplyDeleteThank you
Debbie
