Thanksgiving Decorating Ideas with Wallternatives

Hard to believe it's November already and the holidays are just around the corner.  Seems like Thanksgiving isn't a holiday most people decorate for.  We go from Halloween to Ho Ho Ho!  We host Thanksgiving dinner at our house, so I like to decorate for the holiday.

I started with big blank wall in my living room.  I thought it would be fun to give it a fresh, new look without being permanent.

These removable and reusable wall decals are perfect for Thanksgiving.

The Black and White Fall Phrases were extremely easy to apply and can be repositioned.  Use the squeegee to gently smooth out the creases.

Adding the decals turned my plain wall into a gallery.

Beautiful reminders,

appropriate not only for Thanksgiving, but all year long.

I created the wreath with hydrangeas cut from my front yard.  They started white, then turned lovely shades of pink and green.

Such a simple way to dress up the wall.

We all have many things to be thankful for.  Sometimes we don't realize those blessings until we no longer have them.

  1. Hi Brandi!
What a timely post. My grand-children were just asking me yesterday for some ideas for Thanksgiving decorating.

My daughter is hosting Thanksgiving dinner for the missionaries this year and the kids are so excited. I can't wait to tell my daughter to check these out. She will LOVE it and I think with a bit of guidance the kids will be able to do the decorating.

LOVE the hydrangeas! I really need to get me some:)

Thank you so much for sharing, Brandi...

  5. I LOVE the way this looks! Thanksgiving is my fav time of year. I had knee surgery so I can't do a lot of decorating and it's killing me...but I would love to order some of these! Does your wall have texture on it?

  6. Wow...this is perfect decor for Thanksgiving and really any time of the year. I am going to look into these...our walls are textured so I'm not sure if they would work so well on them. Great idea Brandi ;)

  10. What a great idea. The way you arranged them is perfect. They really do make a nice statement and who would ever guess they were a peel and stick item.

  11. So cool that you don't have to fill them out..although I guess that could be fun too, if you have the time and are in the mood. What a great way to fill up a blank wall.

  21. Hi Brandi, I love these and how wonderful your wall looks in this arrangement with your hydrangea wreath.
Perfect accent for Thanksgiving and beyond. Love the wording is already on them too. I have one similar but it's a chalkboard to write on yourself and position the same way. I love how you can move it and change it out to other spots. I found this one at Office Max by Martha Stewart.

Looks like you are ready for the holidays.
    Hugs and Blessings
