I love the idea of open shelving and wanted to incorporate the look somewhere in my house. We had an empty wall in the dining room that was begging to be filled. So I purchased a couple of unfinished shelves from Hobby Lobby, which I primed and painted white. The next step was to fill the shelves with some of my favorite decor items that had been stored away in cabinets.
I love this time of year and thought it would be fun to decorate the shelves for fall.
I love how this planter looks filled with dried magnolia leaves.
I'm a sucker for anything with beaded details.
I borrowed the boxwood wreath from my front door.
I added a few mini pumpkins.
I wanted to keep things simple and natural. Natural objects are beautiful and inexpensive.
My head is spinning with Christmas ideas!
