Flower Dog Collars

I decided to make a few fabric flowers, inspired by Emily's Little World.

I thought the fabric flowers would be a cute way to embellish my dogs' collars.

To save money, I created each flower using fabric scraps.

Although I made these for my dogs, you could follow Emily's tutorial and embellish anything that you like; such as accessories for your hair or clothing.

I attached each flower to their collars using my glue gun.

Such a simple way to transform a plain collar into a cute one.

Because every dog deserves a cute dog collar...right?!

*ETA-  After washing the collars(in cold water), I would recommend using some fray check to keep the edges crisp.

  4. Just found your blog from YHL. I have been looking for something like this for my little girl dog and never thought to just hot glue something to her collar. I have been wanting to make her something cute and girly to wear because she is NOT into dog dresses. HAHA! I also have a small male dog who I would love to do this for too but instead of flowers I was thinking bowties! Thanks for the great idea!

  16. Brandi,

This is so so cute! I would put one on my cat, but she's probably find some way to destroy it. I really love the last one. What a cute dog with a cute collar!

  27. Thanks for linking up Brandi!! I am in love with this cute, easy craft. In fact, my poor doggie boy is probably going to have to suffer the embarrassment of rocking a flower collar. Oh well LOL.

    Have a fabulous weekend!!
