Coffee Ice Cream Recipe

There isn't anything better than homemade ice cream straight from your ice cream maker, well maybe!  So delicious, your taste-testers will assume you scooped it out of a container.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee granules
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup whipping cream


Directions

In a saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk, whipping cream, evaporated milk, coffee and salt until well blended.  Cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens.  Remove from the heat; cool completely. 



Pour mixture into the bowl of your ice cream maker.  Freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions.  After ice cream is made, cover tightly and freeze until ready to serve.

    Love it that you always have something new to share. I never thought of and ice cream maker although I have passed them and thought will this become just another one of those things that just sit? Ok Im gonna step out and try it.

    YUMMMMM! I could eat that every day!! It's a tradition in my husband's family to make ice cream on the warm holidays, but they've never made coffee ice cream!! I think they should try that kind next! I'd be tempted to throw in some caramel and toffee bars! Thanks for sharing!
