A few weeks after my children began their summer break from school we celebrated with our first ever trip to Disney World.
I anxiously looked forward to trying a Dole Float.
I enjoyed the vanilla-pineapple swirl. It was so refreshing in the sticky Florida heat.I anxiously looked forward to trying a Dole Float.
With just a few simple ingredients and a bunch of ice,
I concocted my own version of the Disney favorite that can be blended in your own kitchen.
It's not quite the same as the Disney treat, but it still tastes yummy.
Ingredients
1 (20-ounce) can pineapple chunks in 100% pineapple juice(do not drain)
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
8 ice cubes
pinch of salt
Directions
Using your blender, blend all ingredients until smooth. Enjoy!
Looks yummy and refreshing. I wonder how it would be if you froze it into pops? I just ordered some pop molds and they should be here soon for Amazon.. ( I am an Amazon junkie).
ReplyDeleteSince I am off sugar, I will try replacing the condensed milk with a frozen banana and also freeze the pineapple. I am making some great treats with frozen fruit and then thin the blended frozen fruit with a bit of 1% milk. Cant wait to try this, I have the can of pineapple in the cabinet.
I see you and I use the same vanilla... that brand is so aromatic.
I so hope you had a wonderful time there and will post some pictures.
This sounds so yummy!
