I'm sort of addicted to searching Craigslist for affordable furniture. Craigslist allows you to find great deals from folks trying to sell in a hurry. I recently found this little step ladder for $5. I purchased it with the intent of using it in my son's room, but it wasn't the right fit for the space. After a little head-scratching I decided to use it as a plant stand for my indoor plants.
the little details.
Hmm...what do you think? Not bad for 5 bucks! Have you had any luck with Craigslist lately?

ReplyDeleteHi Brandi!
ReplyDeleteLove the color...it looks so fresh and summery. Craigslist has been my "go to" site. You can usually get much better prices than the thrift stores. Great find!
Hope all is well! We need to catch up! Same old thing here... Jeff will be home Sat.
Have a great night my friend!

This is such a great idea. I can just see something similar on my front porch. I'll be looking around for a ladder.
ReplyDeleteSweet stepladder! Love it paired with your plants. Craigslist is great but I haven't been able to find much lately. Love what you found and what you did!

ReplyDeleteI LOVE this, Brandi! The color is fantastic. It looks so great with all of the plants on it.
ReplyDeleteGreat plant stand. We're too rural for Craig's list.
ReplyDeleteYou asked about gladioli. They take a while from planting to bloom. Number of days range from 60 to 120, depending on the cultivar. Seems like a long time, doesn't it?
Super cute! So springy:)
ReplyDeleteI have a ladder just like that is a little too wobbly for us to use. This is a perfect idea to bring it out of the basement! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI'm a Craig's List addict. Just drove an hour away last nite to pick something up. I have a series on my blog dedicated just to amazing CL ads. I'm lovin' your blog.
ReplyDeleteI'm here from Marian's party and I'm your newest follower. Pop over for a visit sometime.

I just got 2 chairs off craigslist - one is a chaise!! I need to recover it so it will be a few months before I'm done but I'm still excited anyway. Here's a link if you want to see it:
