Rub-on transfers are most commonly used for scrap-booking, They are easy to apply and can adhere to most surfaces.
I was looking for a few inexpensive ways to brighten up my home for Spring so I decided to transfer my images onto a couple of white planters I had on hand.
Plant flowers from Home Depot and use them indoors as houseplants. They are an inexpensive way to add flowers to a room.
Once I get started no untouched surface is safe! I added a little "love" to our glass, hot chocolate container, just because!
Happy Spring!

ReplyDeleteHi Brandi!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been home ALLLLL day! My blogging friends are in for an earful, haha! This is such a fun way to add some Spring to the house. I have oodles of transfers from my scapbooking days. I will definitely try this. I bet you're not even reading this... you're off transferring, LOL! I like your idea to bring the plants indoors. Very cute!
Have a great night! :)
I have some of these, it never occured to me to put them on glass before. Looks beautiful! Miriam@Meatless Meals For Meat Eaters

What a great idea, Brandi! I love these so much! I never thought of using transfers before to add a little punch to things like that. You have inspired me once again, girl! If I ever start this, I will be like you. No surface will be safe! haha
ReplyDeleteSaw you at Everything But the Kitchen Sink.
ReplyDeleteI had not even THOUGHT of using rub ons for dishes like that! Everyone these days seems to use cut outs of vinyl from a cricut or silhouette. Neither of which I own. But rub ons, that I can do!
What a creative idea. I think I have some rub ons in my craft bin. Thank you for the inspiration! Hugs and happy Friday my friend.xo P.S. have you made it over to my new location yet?

ReplyDeleteThat's such a great idea, Brandi! I especially like them on your glass jar. They must be good quality to stick so well to the glass.
