I love the idea of making my own popsicles.
The fun part about making your own is that you can get as creative as you like with the ingredients. The secret to this frozen treat is thyme. The addition of thyme makes these pops so much more refreshing.
My children really enjoyed them too. The perfect treat on a hot summer day!

Popsicles are my favorite! I am making the kids some strawberry ones for when they get home from school, as soon as I go get a mold. Lol!
ReplyDeleteYum! We used to make homemade popsicles all the time with the girls were little. We should try it again.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Brandi, These Popsicles look so refreshing . . . a true treat on a hot summer day. I would have never thought of adding thyme. I have some growing at my old house, so until it is sold I can harvest some:) I go over there to water and mow the lawn anyway. Not only do these look yummy, but your photography and the composition and layout are perfection. What an amazingly talented girl you are.

These popsicles look so good, Brandi, especially right now as the temperatures have been very hot here. Anything with lemon, and I'm there. Great idea.

AND lady, your photography is exceptional, that picture needs to be in a magazine. Heck, as talented as you are you need your own magazine for that matter. Move over Martha!
ReplyDeleteHi Brandi, how are you?
ReplyDeleteI rarely make my own popsicles but I remember when my mother used to make some for us, at that time that was paradise for me.
Your recipe is good, I imagine it might be delicious & refreshing. I planted a herb this year called lemon-thyme, and I think to add it to this recipe would be great. Maybe I should try.
