Crab Grilled Cheese

Grilled cheese with crab meat!  Umm...yes, please.  Wow, this was a delicious sandwich.  So easy, yet incredibly good.

Why yes, it does taste as good as it looks!  Thick, hearty, and full of delicious flavors.

Ingredients
1 pinch of salt, pepper and dried chives
1 tablespoon butter, extra for spreading
4 slices of Brioche bread
4 slices extra sharp white cheddar cheese
1 cup fresh crab meat

Directions
Saute crab meat in 1 tablespoon butter in skillet for about 2 minutes.  Add salt, pepper and chives.  Set aside. *If you have crab meat from the market, it is likely fully-cooked.  Butter each slice of bread on one side.  Place 4 bread slices, buttered side down, in skillet.  Place a slice of cheese on each slice of bread.  Add a 1/2 cup of sauteed crab meat to 2 slices of bread.  Top with remaining 2 slices, buttered side up.  Grill over medium-low heat, turning carefully, until golden brown.  Serve while hot.

  11. Brandy, this looks delicious, like all of your other recipes that you've shared. I don't remember ever seeing Brioche bread selling over here, and I've only seen imitation crab meat (don't think it taste the same as the 'real thing'). I'll still hold on to this recipe just in case.
