Spaghetti Jar Vase

There's no better way to welcome Spring inside than to fill vases with freshly cut flowers.  After browsing through some inspiration photos online, I decided to give this simple project a try.  This project was easy!  You can create your own vase with twine and an empty spaghetti jar too!

I started by wrapping twine around the bottom of the jar, then added a little hot glue and placed the twine on top.  Repeat this method all around the jar.  A few flowers from my yard complete the look!

  4. Super cute, Brandi! Love the texture mixed with the fresh flowers! I want to try this! Spaghetti for dinner tomorrow. LOL! I think a few of these used down a long table would make a nice centerpiece for a summer party.

  22. Very cute! I did some twine-wrapped Easter eggs, so I know it must take a LOT of patience to wrap a whole jar!

  33. I used twine wrapping in some flower vases I made too! I love it b/c it's cheap (found at the dollar store) and gives a chic cheap and polished look to things. I think i will start saving my spaghetti jars now!

  35. I used a similar technique with some larger diameter jute on some ugly ginger jar style, plaster lamps and it was remarkable just how great they turned out.
