I really like the beadboard look. I like the colors that you used for the counter tops and back splash. I already have similar flooring, kitchen sink, faucets, and the exact same light fixture as above the table! I think I'm going to paint the walls a neutral color too and just add pops of color with accessories. I have PLENTY of accessories in storage.

Thank you for your inspiration. Our friend came over with a few samples and we chose what we liked best. I do know that it was purchased at Home Depot and is 2 inches wide. Hope that helps! This is such a lovely and soothing space now!...WOW! This is such a lovely and soothing space now! Isnt it funny how a problem can turn into such a good thing? Just over a year ago we had a fire in the kitchen of our 1860 home(while we werent home). Thanks to a neighbor the damage was minimal but we still had to endure weeks of our girls living elsewhere and a $5000 cleanup for smoke damage. The best part though? Although the kitchen didnt get "renovated" just putting white paint (over the red) on the walls was enough brightening up to make me appreciate what we (still) had and inspired me to get back into cooking so I could enjoy the space again.
You've done a lovely job!Handbags*and*Pigtailshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04610743416170257873noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8357139271305269155.post-26286642880013922662013-04-04T10:36:26.778-04:002013-04-04T10:36:26.778-04:00Hi, I have a similar kitchen layout
